- Performs a wide variety of typing assignments, which are sometimes confidential in nature; operates personal computer to enter data, draft, edit, revise, and print letters, tables, reports, and other materials.
- Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters.
- Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules appointments, and performs other duties related to maintaining one or more individual schedules.
- Performs a wide variety of assignments; enter data, draft, edit, revise, and print letters, tables, medical reports and other materials.
- Processes requests for leave, holidays, etc.
- Takes and transcribes a variety of correspondence relating to the activities in the Department.
- Updates duty roasters in SAP for all clinical departments.
- Generates departmental monthly reports as needed.
- Assists in organizing activities and functions by the department.
- Prepares and records the minutes of meeting as assigned.
- Maintains confidentiality and diplomacy in all communications and job related duties.
- Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) are complied.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.
- Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) are compiled.
- Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.
- Provides or promotes people centered care.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
- Word processing and data entry skills with operation of basic office equipment.
- Receptionist, Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written; and to create, compose, and edit written materials with performing simple accounting procedures.
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, services ordering and inventory control.
- Maintain professional relationship without prejudice.
- Good rapport with all staff.
