- Set up and configure desktop computers, Printers, IP Phones, IPTVs, QMS, peripherals, user accounts, Email Accounts and assigning security levels, network access, etc. Investigate hardware problems and perform minor system hardware and communication connection repairs. Performs basic diagnostic testing. Major problems or repairs are directed to outside vendors.
- Provide first-level support for computer software and Clinic technology equipment used.
- Respond to incoming calls requesting technical support assistance and take necessary steps to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Working knowledge of help desk software, databases, and remote control
- Plan, install, control, and maintained computers, Printers, IP Phones, and IPOS within the hospital.
- Systematically document all requests for technical support assistance including end-user identification information, the nature of the problem, and steps taken to resolve issues.
- Perform regular maintenance of all system software and hardware as per maintenance schedule, etc. to ensure business continuity and minimize system interruptions.
- Develops and provides content for the hospital's internet website.
- Upgrades and maintains servers, hardware, software, telecommunication connections, e-mail, and security systems.
- Investigate system errors, perform backups, and ensure user accessibility and site performance.
- Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) are complied.
- Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.
- Provides or promotes people-centered care.
- Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.
