Purpose and Scope of the Job:The sales lady is responsible to provide customers with information on available products and their prices and discount options and to meet provided sales goals by indulging in activities to interest customers and ensures customer satisfaction; under the direct supervision of commercial area supervisor.Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards: * Greet customers at the area and provide them with information on their required items
  • Explain item features and provide information regarding prices.
  • Sells the organization's commercial area products and services to customers, visitors and staff.
  • Receives commercial area products from different suppliers and ensures the received items match the delivery note by item type, quantity and price.
  • Manages the shelving & displaying of received items properly and refills the missing items.
  • Reports any item shortages or deficits to the commercial area supervisor for necessary actions.
  • Addresses customer's feedback to the commercial area supervisor to take necessary actions and ensures continual area improvement.
  • Suggests additional products in a bid to meet the company's and self-sales targets.
  • Maintains good grooming to sustain a good profile & image to the commercial area.
  • Receives cash payments from customers; verifies and posts to appropriate accounts; issues receipts.
  • Prepares daily cash reports and balances the cash drawer; reconciles cash, investigates and resolves any out-of-balance problems.
  • Maintains sustainable records of daily and monthly sales, and prepares reports to supervisor as and when is needed.
  • Ensures that customer's purchases are carried out.
  • Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed
  • Provides or promotes people centered care.
  • Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand 8 hours duty and to mobilize objects.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.
Qualifications, Competencies and Skills:Education: High school / university degree is a plusExperience: 2 to 4 years customer service or sales experience.Licensure: Not ApplicableLanguage: Well versed in English and ArabicComputer Proficiency: Computer Basics knowledgePerformance Competencies * Good customer service and selling skills
