Senior Structural Engineer

• Delegate and monitor design tasks between team members and mentor them.
• Collaborate with the executive management in preparing technical proposals.
• Ensure structural design is complying with the relevant legislations, laws, codes, regulations, and engineer principals.
• Authorize and sign-off structural design documents.
• Collaborate with other disciplines engineers to reach a coordinated engineering design.
• Assign workable and constructible structural systems and analyze and design them.
• Ensure strength and stability of designed systems under wind and seismic events.
• Liaise with authorities to obtain the required approvals regarding structural design. analyzed, designed, managed, optimized and monitored diverse of structural systems with wide range of functionality, including residential, commercial, retail, governmental, educational, hospitals, industrial facilities, and industrial warehouses.
• Extensive experience extended to cover designing of both low-rise and high-rise buildings considering wind and seismic forces as per the international/Local codes of standards.
• Experienced in designing several types of structures, including reinforced concrete, post-tension, pre-tension, steel, composite structures.
• Supervise and revise the design work to be done by junior engineers including the structural .drawings.
• Conducted static & dynamic analysis of structures, linear and nonlinear analysis, and preparing of structural calculations submittals.
• Handle submission of offers, follow up & clarify the doubts as well as obtain approval of drawings and material specifications.
• Meeting with the client, supervision/inspection team , and evaluation of the existing structures in heavy industrial applications.
