Job SummaryThe Delivery Advisor plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional handover experience for customers purchasing new vehicles. This role is responsible for coordinating the vehicle delivery process, ensuring all documentation is complete, conducting vehicle orientation with customers, and supporting the sales team to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery by ensuring registration, insurance, accessories, fuel, and detailing are completed.
  • Schedule and coordinate delivery appointments in alignment with the sales team and customer preferences.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspection (PDI) checks and verify readiness of the vehicle before handover.
  • Greet customers on delivery day and provide a warm, professional experience.
  • Explain vehicle features, functionalities, safety systems, and maintenance tips during orientation.
  • Assist customers in connecting mobile apps, infotainment systems, and Bluetooth devices if applicable.
  • Address any immediate customer questions or concerns at the time of delivery.
  • Ensure all required documents (registration, insurance, invoice, warranty booklet, owner's manual) are complete and accurately handed over.
  • Collect customer signatures on all required delivery and inspection documents.
  • Maintain proper delivery records and update CRM systems accordingly
  • Conduct follow-up calls or messages post-delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and answer any additional questions.
  • Liaise with the customer relations team in resolving any after-delivery complaints or concerns.
  • Encourage customers to complete satisfaction surveys and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the sales team, vehicle preparation, and registration departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
  • Monitor vehicle stock status and delivery pipeline to anticipate and plan for upcoming handovers.
  • Report delays or issues in the delivery process to the Sales Manager for resolution.
Candidate Requirements / Key Skills & Competencies
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in automotive sales support, delivery coordination, or customer service.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of vehicle features, controls, and industry terminology is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
