Diesel Generator Technician

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generator sets
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, and control systems
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of generator sets to ensure optimal performance
• Install and commission new diesel generator sets
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in diesel generator technology
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel generator maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine operations and electrical systems
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting generator faults using specialized tools and equipment
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
