Job Description:ResponsibilitiesGreeting guests as they arrive and ensuring that they are seated in a timely manner.Taking reservations and managing the waitlist.Providing menus and answering any questions that guests may have about the menu.Escorting guests to their table and presenting them with menus.Making recommendations on food and drink options.Ensuring that tables are properly set up and that the dining area is clean and tidy.Handling guest complaints and resolving any issues that may arise.Coordinating with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure that guests receive prompt and courteous service.Assisting with other tasks as needed, including answering phones and taking orders.RequirementsMinimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with a calm demeanour.Knowledge of food safety practices and health regulations.Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional under pressure.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
