As a Reservoir Specialist with expertise in PVT analysis, you will play a critical role in reservoircharacterization, hydrocarbon fluid evaluation, and dynamic modeling. Key responsibilitiesinclude:1. Reservoir Fluid Modeling & Simulationo Perform reservoir fluid modeling and dynamic reservoir simulations to predictperformance and optimize recovery strategies.o Conduct reservoir material balance calculations to estimate oil-in-place (OOIP)and gas-in-place (OGIP).2. Fluid Sampling & Recombinationo Carry out representative hydrocarbon fluid sampling, and physical recombinationof separator oil and separator gas to recreate accurate reservoir fluid samples foranalysis.3. PVT Laboratory Experiments & Phase Behavior Analysiso Perform Full PVT experiments, including CCE, CVD, DL, and viscositymeasurements.o Perform direct flash tests to determine GOR, CGR, and shrinkage factors ofsurface and downhole samples.4. Reservoir Fluid Characterization & EOS Modelingo Conduct fluid characterization and equation-of-state (EOS) modeling usingindustry-standard software (e.g., PVTi, PVTpro, PVTSim).o Analyze and calibrate PVT data to develop robust reservoir fluid models.5. Crude Assay & Fluid Property Measuremento Perform crude oil assays (distillation) and determine key hydrocarbon propertiessuch as boiling point distribution, viscosity, vapor pressure, API gravity, BS&W,cloud/pour point, density, H₂S, sulfur content, paraffin/aromatic ratios, flashpoint, wax content, asphaltene content, and salt content.6. Compositional Analysiso Conduct detailed hydrocarbon fluid compositional analysis (liquid and gas) usingadvanced Gas Chromatography (GC) techniques (e.g., Agilent GC).o Quantify and validate hydrocarbon fractions for accurate reservoir fluid modeling.7. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Studieso Evaluate and support chemical, miscible gas, and nanoparticle-assisted EORprocesses through experimental and simulation studies.o Assess reservoir fluid behavior under EOR conditions to optimize recoverystrategies.
