- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory movements using inventory management software.
- Prepare and process orders for outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the storage area.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely replenishment of stock.
- Train and supervise junior staff in store operations and inventory management.
- Implement and maintain an organized storage system for easy access to materials.
- Assist in developing and optimizing inventory management processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Experience in a similar role within a warehouse or retail environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to storage and inventory.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
