- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while driving and operating machinery.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate transportation needs.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of materials.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to the appropriate personnel immediately.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on safety practices and operational procedures.
- Proven experience in operating heavy machinery and vehicles in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in driving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions on the job.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as required.
