Purpose and Scope of the Job:Provide patient relations service to preserve the hospital's image and to promote better patient relations. Enrich people centered care concept by guiding the patients and visitors to their destinations without any confusion as well be able to answer their questions which is related to the patient's journey inside the hospital.Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards:
  • Welcome and greet all the patients at the hospital entrances, offering help and guidance if needed.
  • Guide and escort the patients and their families as well visitors to their destinations without any confusion.
  • Able to answer the entire patient's inquires about the hospital services.
  • Maintain the knowledge about the hospital services and process related.
  • Maintain spirit of assisting, welcoming, hospitality, smiling.
  • Maintain a crispy and attractive look and appearance all the time.
  • Ensures a safe environment of care for all patients, families and guests.
  • Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.
  • Provides or promotes people cantered care.
  • Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs.
  • Assembles and complies fairly complex and confidential information or data and describes contents in a written report
  • Report any observable unprofessional or improper action to the supervisors of the concerned departments that reflect on the quality of service and the hospital's image
  • Maintain relations with all hospital staff to ensure adequate provision of quality patient service and guest relations.
Qualifications, Competences and SkillsEducation: High School Certificate or Equivalent experience in related industryExperience: 0 to 1 years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Licensure: Not ApplicableLanguage: Good Arabic while English is an advantage.Computer Proficiency: Not ApplicablePerformance Competencies:
  • Good oral and written communication skills Arabic and English language
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain cooperative working relationships and team effort in achieving objectives.
  • Experience in dealing with public/ providing customer service
  • Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Good conflict resolution skills and able to work independently
  • Ability to perform as a team member in a large multidisciplinary group

  • Patients, Visitors, Customers
Other Preferences:
  • Preferably Bilingual
  • Local candidates with valid and transferable visa in Kuwait
