- Oversee construction, erection, and installation activities of mechanical, electrical, or civil systems (based on specialization).
- Monitor daily site operations, contractor performance, and workforce productivity.
- Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and approved plans.
- Ensure quality control and inspection of works as per QAP/ITP.
- Conduct material checks, testing, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Track daily progress and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
- Support in updating schedules and identifying any delays or roadblocks.
- Maintain site records, documentation, and work permits.
- Enforce safety practices at site as per HSE guidelines.
- Conduct tool-box talks and monitor PPE usage and safe practices.
- Strong knowledge of power plant systems (boilers, turbines, switchyards, etc.).
- Good understanding of construction drawings, standards, and site management.
- Familiar with MS Project / Primavera (preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site staff, labor, and contractors effectively.
- Bachelors Civil Engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in site execution in power plant or heavy industrial projects.
- Experience with thermal, hydro, or renewable energy plants is an advantage.
