- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
- Stay updated on the latest swimming techniques and coaching methodologies.
- Encourage teamwork and camaraderie among swimmers to foster a positive training atmosphere.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of assistant coaches and volunteers.
- Promote water safety awareness and conduct safety drills as necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire swimmers of all ages.
- Certification in CPR and first aid.
- Knowledge of swimming techniques and training methodologies.
- Patience and adaptability in teaching diverse skill levels.
- Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules and events.
- Passion for swimming and commitment to athlete development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience in competitive swimming is a plus.
