- Welding or joining metal and other materials into a wide range of structures
- Following, drawings and instructions
- Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
- Inspecting and testing welds with precision measuring instruments
- Position and tighten braces, bolts, clamps, boots and other necessary parts into place for welding and riveting
2-3 year minimum experience in similar job
Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals
Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment
Climb on to structures and Scaffolding
Health & Safety Knowledge is a plus
Reading and knowledge of common welding symbols
