Provide hospitable and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of ourguests. Help in the smooth running of services on the floor. Reporting to the Floor Supervisor.Key Responsibilities Treats guests with a natural smile and presents them with the menu. Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any. Suggest food and beverages to the guest and try to upsell. Take food and beverage orders from the guest on the order-taking pads/ipads and checking aboutallergens. Presenting bill, accepting payments, returning the change. Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor or above. Punch the order on the POS machine and make sure to enter the special requirements made by theguest while ordering the food. E.g. no garlic, less spicy etc. Engaging in natural conversations with guests and aid with their queries. Coordinate with the service helpers, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guestsatisfaction. Server food and beverage to the guest as per their request. Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service. Promptly respond to guest with any additional request. Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs etc. Adhere to grooming, posture and appearance standards consistently. Assist Service helpers with stocking and maintain the restaurant side station. Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing financialtransactions. Print closing report and drop the cash with the managers. Seeing off the guest and telling them to visit again in future or hope to see you again soon etc. Reports guest complaints and suggestions to restaurant in charges without delays. Avoiding or controlling the wastage of non-food items. Creating connections with regular guests and making new loyal guests through humility and care. Always maintain and follow food safety regulations and norms. Other tasks assigned by the management.
