Job Category: R&M TECHNICIANJob Description:Job OverviewThe Completions Repair and Maintenance Technician IV performs hands-on inspection, repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of oilfield tools and equipment, ensuring they are ready for deployment. Work covers the full cycle-from receiving and dismantling tools to reassembly, testing, and documentation-using technical manuals and procedures.Responsibilities:Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble tools and equipment.
  • Use tools, lifting equipment, and machinery according to certifications.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and safe working conditions.
  • Use work orders, checklists, and documentation systems (e.g., WO labor log, PFTs, AIRTs).
  • Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
  • Support continuous efficiency improvement programs and LEAN initiatives.
  • Senior roles may lead workshop operations, assign tasks, and conduct inspections
Qualifications:Skills:
  • Workshop experience working with Completions tools and equipment (Packers, Safety Valves etc.
  • Strong technical aptitude in equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in quality control analysis and use of precision measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials, NDT/NDE, ATEX principles.
  • Effective communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically capable of meeting the job's demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership skills for senior-level responsibilities.
Qualifications:Required:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with Completions
  • Open to any degree or educational background
  • Basic computer proficiency
Preferred:
  • Technical degree preferred
