  • Manage and supervise the stewarding team, including dishwashers and kitchen cleaners.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas according to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain an efficient inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stewarding operations.
  • Coordinate with chefs, banquet staff, and other departments to ensure seamless support during service and events.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate stewarding staff to maintain high performance and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and control breakage, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Oversee waste management, recycling processes, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage departmental schedules and reports.
