- Manage and supervise the stewarding team, including dishwashers and kitchen cleaners.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas according to health and safety standards.
- Maintain an efficient inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stewarding operations.
- Coordinate with chefs, banquet staff, and other departments to ensure seamless support during service and events.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate stewarding staff to maintain high performance and hygiene standards.
- Monitor and control breakage, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Oversee waste management, recycling processes, and sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare and manage departmental schedules and reports.
