
Shipping & Clearing Specialist

- Planning and coordinating inbound shipping of raw materials.
- Managing booking of containers, shipping schedules, and transport arrangements with forwarders.
- Monitoring shipment status and providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.
- Overseeing cross-border shipments between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia facilities.
- Working with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize transportation costs.
- Ensuring timely customs clearance for juice and concentrate shipments at designated ports.
- Preparing and reviewing all required import documentation.
- Coordinating with clearing agents to resolve issues and avoid delays.
- Aligning inbound shipments with production demand and inventory levels.
- Collaborating with Procurement and Production teams on shipment priorities.
- Supporting inventory tracking for juice concentrates and related raw materials.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce shipping lead times, costs, and clearing cycle times.
- Tracking and reporting on key shipping and clearing KPIs.
- Maintaining strong relationships with shipping lines, clearing agents, and government authorities.
- Education: University graduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any relevant field (required).
- Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in shipping and clearing operations, ideally within the FMCG, food & beverage, or ingredients industry.
- Solid understanding of international shipping terms and processes.
- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and documentation.
- Knowledge of GCC import regulations (experience in Kuwait and/or Saudi Arabia is a plus).
- Language: Bilingual (Arabic & English).
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP and logistics management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, forwarders, and clearing agents.
