
Security Coordinator (Relocation to Kuwait Required)

- Maintain student safety on campus, upholding a safe community in accordance with the student code of conduct
- Organize and implement security measures and systems and procedures to promote structure and increased safety within the campus; assist in the development and updating of security policy and procedures guides and manuals
- Assist with supervision for entering and exiting of all guests, vendors, students, and employees, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day flow of communication regarding security related concerns
- Oversee parking lot and vehicle safety on campus
- Draft, edit, write and send communications as appropriate in coordination with supervisor; assist with preparing reports and presentations on overall security status of campus to CEO and management.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of all campus security personnel
- Provide support for special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of these, as needed by the department
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Security
- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively at all levels within the University in English; must possess effective presentation skills
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience working with security; ideally in an higher education/university campus setting but other industries accepted
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, professional working environment, working under pressure and maintaining composure; must be task oriented, a self-starter, and capable of working independently
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of standard software applications
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of professionals and constituents
- Ability to work evening and weekends as required
- Minimum of three years' experience in a security or military related role - desired
- Demonstrated experiences using computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
