Procurement Engineer

• Review and analyze project specifications, material requirements, and technical drawings to determine procurement needs
• Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with project requirements
• Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate technical and commercial proposals, and perform cost analyses
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers
• Issue purchase orders (POs) and monitor delivery timelines to ensure timely receipt of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and warehouse teams for smooth procurement-to-delivery process
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, delivery, and supplier performance.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with the company’s policies, industry regulations, and ISO standards
• Handle procurement documentation, vendor registration, and prequalification processes.
• Resolve supplier issues related to delays, quality, or non-compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
