Responsibilities
- Supervises Supply Technicians located at Camp Arifjan, and remotely for Supply Technicians located at geographically dispersed locations.
- Direction and oversight to include overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, at Camp Arifjan as well as other geographically dispersed locations, as it relates to the retail supply operations.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of operational methods and procedures, monitoring workflow and stock levels of assigned facilities, and reviewing and authorizing requisitions.
- Plans and coordinates workloads to optimize the use of resources.
- Establishes programs to meet normal mission and contingency mission requirements.
- Prepares, analyzes and briefs reports using trend analysis and indicators to identify potential risks or those identified by Management and/or the Customer.
- Monitors and evaluates the work performance of the Supply Technicians to ensure they are in compliance with contractual and all Army regulations pertaining to assigned tasking.
- Ensure safeguarding of all Army Property and Equipment
- Coordinates with Project Management Office to meet mission taskings.
- Establish and update an internal and external SOP detailing operations to accomplish contract requirements for supply support
- Establishes polices and guidelines to include a property control system to control, protect, preserve, and maintain all Government property.
- Establishes DODAAC account to facilitate shipment from military shipping points.
- Monitors the stock levels of supply facilities within the Area of Operations (AOR).
- Travel throughout the theater of operations to conduct internal audits of retail activities to assure operation in conformance with the FAR, DOD and department policies and procedures.
- Operates and provides guidance for the Central Shipping and Receiving activities within the TLSF throughout the AOR.
- Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records and turn-ins.
- Reviews and verifies quantities received against purchase requests and shipping documents.
- Processes inventories, surveys, and warehousing documents.
- Prepares, annotates and distributes shipping documents
- Ensures inventories are performed in accordance with established procedures
- Instructs personnel performing warehouse duties in loading, unloading, segregation, dunnage, pelletizing, and selection of stock and storage areas.
- Oversees property disposal storage functions
- Ensures application of special procedures for handling, storing, packaging and shipping retrograde material.
- Recommends additions and deletions to authorized stockage list.
- Maintains accounting records of property disposal activity.
- Manages controlled, critical and reserve stocks and operational readiness floats.
- Performs other duties and assignments as required.
- Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
- High School diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
- Experience: One year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for one year of experience up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor's degree for three years general experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Supply operations.
- Experience with a customer service-oriented company.
- Skills & Technology Used:
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to learn automated supply management systems.
- Must be able to obtain a Forklift license.
- Supervisory / Budgetary Responsibilities:
- Supervises Supply Technicians directly at Camp Arifjan and remotely for Supply Technicians located at geographically dispersed locations.
- Reviews Purchase Requests to ensure available funding prior to submittal.
- Managing manning and Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Tracking and following up regarding mandatory compliance training
- Updating ICAMS
- Validating certificates of completion in SharePoint Virtual Training Record (VTR)
- Safety inspections
- Interacting with subordinates ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Vehicle usage
- Upholding company policies, such as dress code, schedules and breaks, safety etc.
- Reoccurring training is completed prior to suspense date and before personnel are approved for PTO and before departing.
- Resolving personnel conflicts at the lowest level possible.
