The Assistant HR role in the retail and wholesale industry in Kuwait is pivotal for supporting the human resources department in managing employee relations, recruitment, and compliance with labor laws. This position requires a proactive individual who can assist in various HR functions while ensuring a positive work environment. The Assistant HR will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of engagement and productivity within the organization.Responsibilities: * Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Help coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits and payroll processing.
  • Support performance management processes, including tracking employee evaluations and feedback.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and events to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, assisting in audits and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports and presentations.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Preferred Candidate: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Adaptability to changing work environments and priorities.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
